This car is owned by Michael Van Der Veen in Australia.

NOTE: The first two photos are renderings of what the car will look like when restored.

This 300F is a special-order paint car that came in the 1960 Imperial color of Dusk Mauve Iridescent. It was an ordered car that was originally sold at Oswald Motor Company on Main Street in Cloquet, Minnesota. Reportedly the original owner was R.W. Lindholm who owned the only gas station designed by Frank Lloyd Wright that had ever been built. Click here for more information on the gas station, which is still standing at 2020 Cloquet Ave, Cloquet, MN 55720. The Lindholms also lived in a Frank Lloyd Wright house, called Mantyla, that they had built before the gas station. The house has since been moved to Pennsylvania. We've reached out to the family to try and confirm that Mr. Lindholm did in fact order this special 300F. We also found that there might have been a matching Chrysler New Yorker station wagon sold at the same small dealership. Peter McKinney, grandson of Mr. Lindolm, told me that his grandfather always drove Cadillacs but that there was talk of a Chrysler in the family. We've lost touch with Mr. McKinney.

The car was subsequently painted Daytona Sand and then Bluegrass and passed through several hands before being acquired by Michael.

The car came with the following options. Power seat, custom accessory group (heater, radio-Golden Touch Tuner, rear seat speaker, power antenna, rear window defogger), accessory package "A" (door edge protectors, vanity mirror, license plate frame), automatic beam changer, sure grip differential, left outside remote mirror, Mirrormatic and tinted glass - all windows.
